New do required...

Ok...so its considered the oldest traditional rock n roll trademark...long hair, but after all these years...Im begining to get the "I need a new look" feeling. So plz anyone is open to give any suggestions.
On the lighter side of my life, I just got my mics and amplifier back from my drummers place, what a releif. I went through almost a whole month without practicing a single song. Does anyone know what that can do to a rocker..it makes us restless & cranky, and no one wants to be around when that happens. Come to think of it, Ramzan wasnt quite what I expected it to be this year. It started of fine...then I realized the effects. Music was at its lowest volume to start of with. People, you need to understand music literally flows in my veins. Secondly, My plans of loosing a lil extra pounds went 'chopat' when Big momma arrived. It was food galore (which was amazingly delecious so dont get your hopes high), but it didnt help in the exercise programme. Thirdly, the last few days I was at a shoot for a car commercial and it was 2 daytime shoots 12 hours each....that really messed up my health. But at the end of the day...It got a lil frustrating but made post ramzan all the more better. The whole Eid thing kinda covered it up.
I missed the John Mayer concert that happened the day before, but thats allright, I looking forward to the Desert Rock Fest happenin next year, this time its gonna be a two-day fest.

Eid mubarak..Happy Diwali & Happy Halloween

Hey all,

Been a while i know...what can i say, Ive been havin too much fun and been tied up with work all at the same time. So anyway, Eid just passed, second day in khi today, hope everyones having a blast. Finally got to wore these two kurtas I bought like ages ago, never thought I'd be wearing em. Was good to spend a holiday with the rest of the family, At first I was like chalo, I'll be alone so i'll visit some pals catch up on some overtime work and get some peace for a change and then mom n dad showed up and for a glance i was like "i hope we all have a good time and no one gets hyperactive and tensed about anythin", obviously like any other paki family, weve got our book of various problems which need to be dealt with. So here we were, one big...hmm...happy and anxious family...but at the end of the day....its because we're family we stick together. For the first time my dad sat down with me and discussed some of my business ideas...something that hes never done with me, always my elder bro...and it felt good to talk to dad so openly and maturly..mom was around too, she did what any smart mom/wife would do.....she made the snacks. My sis gave her bit of advice too ....so over all eid rocked cuz the family was at ease...non one bugged anyone...no one went outta propertion...we all just stuck around..:-) - its amazing what something like eid can bring for everyone....

On a lighter note...The goddess seems to have upset me again...I know i'm the last person who you'd give a rats butt about...so at some level i guess i shouldnt care about these things so much. sorry babe., hope eid was a blast and hope your phone is kickass too.

1) My mom extended her trip, so I get to see here more and ofcourse....the food.....heaven.

2)Moms trip got exteneded cuz Big Poppa is flyin into town to spend Eid with his 2 children.

3)My band Rogue finally recorded a new song apart from "remember", the new one is called "stainless bond", and its turned out pretty good.

4)My ignorance finally effected a freind who needed to be taught a lesson.

5)Work has been keeping me busy so thats not all that bad.

6)I got by XboX back and been at it all nite.(yes yes boys will be boys with their toys)

7)Got an interview published in The Nation today.

8)Getting a new batch of sponsored t-shirts to add to my collection.

9)The new seasons for Lost & Smallville are finally airing.

10)and finally, youve been nice to me and youre life aint thaaaaaaaat boring, youre just sayin it cuz youre a moto. ;-)

WOW !.....I feel good (na na na..na na na) I know that I should (na na na..na na na) - yeh yeh its a james brown song so sue me...we rockers have crazy tastes in music, khair . So after 3 days of complete self-realization. I feel energized , pumped and ready to kick some ass at work. what was wrong you ask? well, I guess I was just missing all my freinds in khi. Its become the home I never expected it to be. Over the past 3 years Ive made some best freinds there any person could ask for (god bless em). above all my folks live there, aray my moms in town too, as in dubai...just visitin but maaaan I love her soo much, shes like the best cook ever...ofcourse her motherhood has been the sweetest, cutest & most-nutkhat ever (love you ma). so, yeh that was it, ironically i just got home sick while being home.
Oh yeh, special thanx to my freind insi for caring soo much, love ya too babe...thanx for being around.

Just when you get that sensational feeling that life is kinda good today...the devil in you throws you a curve ball and strikes you right in the.....well, lets just say that sometimes you feel that you want somethin so bad, and youre workin hard n smart to achieve it, at the same time you feel that is it really gonna work? is my effort going noticed? am i overdoing it?...if people could have answers to these impulsive questions then i guess it would defeat the purpose of being human. I just hope I find it oneday, the one thing that everyone talks about but hardly anyone has seen...sounds like im talkin about a ghost isnt it...well go figure.
